　Dipping is a strange sensation. And it cures and beautifies.
　I always pour a little water on myself before I dip in, because I am very afraid of hot water. And I realize that after I get up, my skin become red and my body is hot.But when I get into the cold tub, things are different. I feel very much the opposite. My feet trembles and I shiver a little. This is when I will go back to the hot tub and repeat the procedure.
　Dipping is both comfortable and healthy. What a bargain!

hotspring mountain tours

(Yangmingshan National Park press release 2000.7.6) 　When you open your eyes and see piles of garbage in place of your expected nice creek and beautiful scenery, don't be too surprised. Indeed, this region has become the country of trash. Some people who love to dip in hot tubs has brought what should be brought here, and left what shouldn't have been left here. The employees of the National Park are trying hard to clean up the mess. In addition to help mother nature, we also wish to advocate everyone to protect our land from garbage. Please do not litter.

　If you've been to that region, then you would know how heartbreaking it is.

　Before we started on the trip, we already knew from our research that this place is a bit dirty, so we brought our share of bags and we were ready to help clean the place up.

　Because this region is different from the other regions which consist of mostly vocanic rocks,tourist love to come here the best. They can dip and enjoy the view at the same time, but it's also why this place is the dirtiest of them all.

　Along the forest trails we see large woods, rippling creek, and deep inside is the hotspring where only the true lovers of hotspring know to come.

 

　Because the Longfong and the Phoenix hotspring is only 1.5 kilometer apart, most people come here to both mountain climb and take dips.

　It would be so wonderful if everyone who came here could remember to clean up.

everyone has a duty to protect

　Longfong valley is also called double creek hotspring area.It is located near the southeastern end of Troon high school. It is also called Madsukoo.

　 hotspring are rainwater being heated underneath the earth, and rise up to ground level. The following conditions are needed:

1. hot underground water
2. pressure to cause the uprise of water
3. rock formation must include a crack for water to channel upward

　In the tourist center, two teachers kindly explained to us how the rocks contain iron atoms, and when they get in touch with air, become oxidized, and get a reddish color. And when water gradually washes off the oxidized particles we get the soft white soil used for ceramics.

　We easily find such rocks here, and after realizing how precious these rocks are, we sincerely hope that we don't destroy them unintentionally.

　When we were approaching the valley, I found some architecture that seemed extraordinarily old. Due to the lack of management, the entire creek is plagued with trash. I hope that after cleaning up, we get to see a beautiful environment.

　We also found out that the dippers in this area are all old faces. They also don't wish for the place to be renovated. This is probably because people don't wish to be disturbed by newcomers and strangers.

• idea one:There is a perfect watchspot from Troon high school to this area.We believe that the addition of a binocular is a good idea.
• idea two:We see trash in this region everywhere. Thus we support the implementation of mountain cleaning rules and law enforcement to prevent the violation of related rules.
• idea three:There are numerous rocks and creeks in this area. And there is a free space with a bunch of garbage piled on it. After cleaning it up, this could be used for a parent/child recreation area.
• idea four:There are simply too many restaurants and stores. We would like to unite them and transform it into a restaurant region with proper management. The restaurants would be more clean and recognizable.
• idea five:There are two public baths in the deeper end of the valley. Both are dark and broken down. We would like to turn them into semi-outdoor baths. We could make the walls normal height, but add some glass on top of the roof to give it a more modern look.
• idea six:As for the big free space outside the public baths we suggestthat we set up elder's corner, huts, chess area, tea area, etc. This way, the elders may have a lot more leisure options to choose from and spend a beautiful and busy day.
• idea seven :If there are sky cablecars built between Baytow and this region, there should be a midstop somewhere here, because not only is it convenient, but everyone will enjoy her great view!
