hotspring
angels¡@
by:Cheng E-Jin
¡@ hotspring
are like heaven. When I dip in it, I feel as if angels
are flying above my head, and my body floats happily in
the sky and we dance with the angels. I throw away all
my worries and play until my heart is fresh again. What
a nice way to rid yourself of worries and bad memories!
This
is just great
by:Chen Yin
¡@¡@Dipping
may seem a little uncomfortable at first, but after you
get used to it, the hotspring will help you relax and
massage your body, and you'll feel so much better. We should
also come with friends and family because they can talk
and become more intimate. Sometimes, even inspiration
come and join in!
Have I convinced you yet? Why
not give hotspring a try this weekend!

hotspring tour
a
new beginning of an old hotspring
¡@Baytow
used to be the pronoun for tenderness country. The popular
image of sex-related industries has been in many people's
mind for many years. But now through the efforts of the
communities, she
now has a brand new image and people can take the mass transit
system to enjoy her latest contribution to society -- hotspring
country. If you get off at New Baytow Station, you won't
be far from the Baytow
hotspring museum
¡@This museum used to be the public
Baytow tub, and it wasn't until recently, when a bunch of
teachers and students were doing research on this area,
that she was rediscovered. And after their advocation, Baytow
residents decided to join their efforts to save the old
place, and transform it into what is now known as the Baytow
hotspring museum.
¡@ There
are still clear pictures of what the old public tubs look
like in the museum, and there are guides and complete displays
to help tourist understand them more. Another
good place to visit is the groundheat valley. In it,we can
not only enjoy the smoky,
steamy sights but also take
a feetdip in the special dipping area
¡@If it's not just the feet you're
looking to dip, you might want to give the numerous hotspring
hotels nearby a try.
There are new ones, old ones, traditional ones, and ones
with great facilities and food.If you wish for an even more
natural experience, then you and your whole family may try
a dip in the outdoor waterpark, which is a really inexpensive
way to enjoy a nice hotspring bath. Isn't life great?

my
thoughts
my
Baytow tour
by:Huang Linan
¡@Inside
the hotspring museum, the first floor is filled with a western
atmosphere, with its stainglass windows and other decorations. The
second floor which offers a more Japanese style is even
more relaxed and attractive to the average tourist.
¡@To me, Baytow is
a place with a personality and is worthy of a visit for
everyone.
the
nice-smelling museum
by:Wu Shu-Yu
¡@Baytow
hotspring museum has been listed as grade 3 relic. Once
we step inside, we smell a nice wood aroma, and the guide,
Ms.Lin told us much information about hotspring.
¡@My favorite spot
is the Japanese area, because it is comfortable and we get
to see the view outside. I would definitely bring my family
here for a visit.
memories
by:Kuo Min-Cheng
¡@The
museum offered me much knowledge, and I know much more about
hotspring, Baytow, and her people. Whenever I lay my eyes
on those old tubs, I would see in my head old people from
the past taking a dip and having the time of their life.
care
and compassion
by:Chang Wei-Chih
¡@Baytow
is a great place. There are national parks, plains, and
hotspring.
¡@It wasn't until I came to the museum when I realized how
rich and wonderful the history and humanity of this area
really is. I feel that by doing this research and by watching
the short films in the museum, it makes me care more and
have more compassion for the surroundings near me, and that,
I think, is the best lesson anyone could get.

'remake' blueprint
|
- During the Japanese reign,
the Japanese built the very first public bathroom near
the Baytow creek -- the skydog house. And after they tore
it down and built another one, it was the first version
of what is now hotspring
museum. The building itself is heavily English style,
with hotspring, rest areas, and restaurants inside.
It
is over a hundred years old, and so when we were thinking
of ways to renovate her, we naturally turned to her historical
and humanities characteristics.
- idea one:If
she's to become an internationally renowned tourist spot,
her transportation must be greatly improved. Although
there are buses and mass transit systems, the parking
here is still a nightmare for most visitors. But most
parking lots will ruin her outlook,
we
recommend that parking spaces be placed around this area,
and transform the place into a pedestrian
zone. Tourist can walk and enjoy the different shows
performed along the walk.
- idea
two:Even though she is already quite famous,
but if we are to really push her popularity to new heights,
we must hold events such as a hotspring carnival where
we can combine local and international artists to make
this even more memorable.
- idea three:In
order to wipe off the bad image in the past, Baytow
must
become more artistic and literarty. Thus we feel that constant
literary events must be held here, near the outdoor
hotspring fountain. Imagine a day when you can watch
a wonderful ballet performance while sipping a nice cup
of coffee...
- idea four:Many
believe the soothing power of hotspring. In addition
to healing powers, we believe that it can do lots of good
to the human spirit as well. Thus we should combine the
beautiful scenery and hotspring , and establish a type
of soothing area where restless people can come and calm
their lives down.
