fun
my
happy hotspring trip¡@¡@by:Yun Lee
¡@Today
is my first time learning about the fun of hotspring.
It was so hot!I gradually dip
my body in there, afraid of getting burned, yet I felt
quite comfortable as i slowly emmerse myself inside the
tub. A little like having a fever. A little like being
burned by nice fires.
¡@Then when I saw
a tub next to me, I jumped in, only to realize that it was
a cold tub, and not just any kind of cold. It was the kind
of coldness that made you numb. But when I switched back
and forth from tub to tub, I realized how magical it felt
to take baths there, and I became a little addicted myself.
We also enjoyed some nice refreshments.
¡@Happiness never
lasts. Before I knew it, we're back on the bus and my virgin
hotspring trip came to a disappointing end.

hotspring trip
The
gorgeous Coldwater Pit
¡@There
is a famous hotspring
hole near here, which is covered with yellowish-white
crystals. But it is now shut down for safety reasons.
¡@The other place is this lake
whose colors gave her her name milklake.
¡@The two hotspring are open to the public
for free and is considered one of the most complete hotspring
s as far as utilities are concerned. Near
the public tubs mountains open their arms and the scenes
are like pictures. It is one of the most enjoyable experiences
known to human to take a hotspring dip in this area. There
are tourist centers conveniently located near the tubs,
which provide fine refreshments. Because
this is also the area where tourist must pass by if they're
headed toward Sevenstar Mountain or the Silky Falls, thus
this area is very well developed in terms of routes and
paths.

my
discoveries
The
ecologically rich Coldwater Pit
by:Pan Hui-Chun Tsai shin-ying
Coldwater
Pit is an ecologically rich area:
- Plantlife-She's
famous for producing high quality summer vegetables. The
main composition of her forests are the red Nan wood,
the duck-mouth wood, and many others. Near the bottom
of the hill, where it's moist and damp, there are the
eight-fairy woods, the long-stemed purple Mah plant, in
addition to the other plantlife, making it a quite complex
ecological area.
- animals-The
long-legged frogs and sharp-nosed frogs ( also known as
the frog which makes bird-like sounds ) and different
kinds of toads are popular among this area. Thus you better
watch your step for you might accidentally step on one
of these cute creatures. There are also lots of snakes,
so you should always be careful not to get "off track",
because some of the snakes are quite poisonous. But perhaps
you could be daring and look for a type of snake called
mountain knife. They are not poisonous and are actually
quite cute-looking with his green color and small size.
- sights-The
Milk Lake is located in the Coldwater Pit, and got her
name because of the color in the lake. It is a volcanic
area, but later developed by humans. It rains quite a
bit here in the winter, and this lake is never short of
water supply.
These ecological treasures definitely is worthy of our
appreciation and learning.

current positioning
|
'remake' blueprint
|
- idea one:set
up signs and introductions to every extraordinary sight,
and let tourist learn about the animals and plants of
this area.
idea
two:In addition to the watch spot on the Milk
lake, there are many more high points,so
to set up binoculars in these areas and also attach instructions
under them to let tourist not only see better, but
know better.
- idea three:The
public bath here is the one that we felt the most beautiful
of them all. Because there are mountains that surround
it, and there is a great big space in front of it
with parking lots. Thus we feel that it would be a good
idea to add some local buses to this route and also establish
a feet-dipping
area for people who weren't prepared a chance to give
hotspring a try.
- idea four:The
current hotspring tubs are simply too small to encompass
all the tourist who comes here. This area deservingly
needs to be expanded to let more people enjoy her beauty.
