Horsestable is located near the Eastern side of the beautiful Horsestable Bridge. The actual Horsestable hotspring is located near Cheegoo Mountain and because there are wonderful plantlife in this region, it is a great place for people to go and relax themselves.

　 Creeks are everywhere in this hotspring region, and the sights are magnificent, especially during the fall season when Mon grass blooms.There is a nice watchspot for everyone to get a great view of the bamboo forests and the beauty of the creeks and valleys of this region.

Horsestable hotspring are acidic, and has a grayish outlook, with a temperature of around 75℃, and pH value at about 3∼4.

Horsestable is a typical collapsed type of valley, and is bigger than the Little Oilpit. This is right at the breaklayer region, which makes it extra dangerous during the typhoon and thunderstorm seasons.

　In 1986 there was a great mountain accident,and the Horsestable bridge was washed down and destroyed. One can still see the obvious collapsed cliff and the scattered rocks that fill the valley.

　The puffholes are located near the southern side of the Horsestable valley. And the rocks around the puffholes have different colors due to heat, steam, and erosion.

　The Nali typhoon of September 17, 2001 has destroyed much of the Horsestable region. And renovation is still underway.

Horsestable hotspring are located in the Horsestable creek valley, and belong to the Yangmingshan region.

　Tourists who come to Horsestable to dip in hotspring also enjoy very much the newly built Horsestable Bridge, because the bright color and beautiful design of the bridge body, plus the wonderful restaurants nearby all make the trip seem well-organized and convenient for city tourists to enjoy.

　The government has taken over most of the Horsestable region due to its hightly unstable geological characteristics. Since then, the vendors and restaurants have substantially been reduced, and the place looks much more clean and organized.

• No, not personally, but it happens often after typhoons.
• every time after a typhoon, I discover that everything looks different again.
• This place, for example, looks very different now. It used to be a nice road!

2,Is there a routine route for the pipelines? Does the government set up rules?

• Yangmingshan office doesn't. Just go and apply.
• It depends on the individual needs. Just remember to go from high places to lower ones. That's the basic rule.

3,What is the Yangmingshan National Park office doing about these messy pipeline?

• They did not manage them well.
• Some people even use pipeliens without applying for a license. Some pipelines are old and thus making it look even messier.
