Longfong Valley hotspring region is located in the north of a double creek. And there are a number of hotspring in between these creeks and valley.

¡@In this region, hotspring mainly follow the trail of the south creek, and the rocks here appear to have a reddish outlook due to the oxidization of irons in the spring water.

The reddish outlook from oxidization,The hotspring of this region are centralized near the creek, and filled with beautiful public dipping rooms.

¡@Because Longfong Valley hotspring region is situated between a forest and a creek, it's very beautiful and different from the Datoon Volcanic Mountains and other hotspring regions.

This region of hotspring are neutral carbon type, with a ph value of around 6~7, and the temperature is lower, around 40 degC~60degC, transparent, smellless, and called Iron Spring due to the red residues in it.

The regional hotspring is located near a beautiful mountain region and Taipei city government has built both men and women's public dipping rooms for citizen's free use.

Every morning around 4 or 5 a.m., these dipping mates take the bus and come for their daily hotspring .

¡@There early birds prepared breakfast, tea, and talk through the bright morning. This is the favorite hangout place of people who know dipping.

¡@Because the Longfong hotspring and the Phoenix hotspring is only about 1.5 kilometers apart, thus people who know their way love to utilize this convenience and climb and dip at the same time.

1, Why do you like to dip in the hotspring here?

• because we climb here. It's convenient to take a dip at the same time. The temperature is also good, not too hot or cold.ƒý
• We don't like the places where you can just dip when you pay. Even people with skin disease go in there.
• We feel rejuvenated after a dip in the hotspring . There seems to be something special about it.„@
• There are a lot of old poeple who come here. We can make new friends!

• I found out about it by accident one day when I was climbing Yangmingshan.
